Imperfect

Hand-finished, cosmetically imperfect boards at a discount — full ride performance.
Description
The Imperfect is a directional, rockered, single-kick board built for riders who value feel, function, and character over polish. The concave is deep and comfortable, locking you in without forcing your stance, and the long wheelbase gives it stability and confidence when the terrain gets fast or unpredictable. A functional kicktail keeps it usable when you need to maneuver, adjust, or get out of a tight spot.
This board is built from a layered construction of 7 plies of maple, 1 ply of Formica, and 1 ply of triaxial fiberglass, creating a stiff, durable ride that stays composed at speed. Each deck is CNC cut and drilled for precision, then hand-routered by us. That final step introduces subtle variations from board to board. The shapes are consistent, but the details aren’t identical.
Those small imperfections are part of the process and part of the point. No two boards are exactly the same, and that’s intentional. This is a limited run built by hand, meant to be ridden hard, not hung on a wall.

It’s got Soul.
This board feels so natural to my feet. Directional rocker + wider front foot area creates a secure pocket for my front foot. The taper towards the back, when combined with the slow upward progression of the rocker, makes it so easy to feel the rails for pushing out toesides and heelsides with ease. This board looks big, but is actually so nimble with the 24” wb and how light it is. I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort I felt when taking this board to 40mph and throwing predrifts into corners. I highly recommend grabbing one before they are gone!
