Description

The Roar Speed Fatty shares the same DNA as the Speed Fatty series, but it’s shaped with a slimmed-down, refined Super Fatty-inspired outline built for one thing: serious downhill in real Northern California terrain. Tight, steep, narrow hills. Mountain descents. Rough pavement. Cracks. The kind of roads that don’t care how confident you felt at the top.

At 33.063″ long and 9.313″ wide, the Roar gives you a wider platform that feels immediately more forgiving without feeling bulky. When the road gets bumpy and cracky, this board stays composed. It holds a line, absorbs chaos, and keeps you supported even if your feet shift when things get fast.

Speed Fatty construction provides the backbone: a stiff, predictable platform that stays quiet at speed so you can focus on your line instead of managing flex. The concave, pockets, and subtle kicks are familiar and functional — small power pockets over the trucks keep your feet locked in and give you leverage exactly where it matters. Not for tricks. For control.

Setup is wide open. Run anything from 125mm to 10″ trucks, with no problem clearing 70mm wheels. The bias is clear: fast, maneuverable downhill built for the tight, steep roads and mountain runs that define Northern California skating.

The graphic by Chad Lybrand throws back to the roots of the Sunset Slider downhill community — a wildcat that looks calm and almost cute, right up until it isn’t. And the tagline says it plain: No Fun Allowed. A friendly reminder that you should be having fun all the time, and if you’re not, you’re blowing it.

This isn’t for parks. It isn’t for ollies. It’s for hill bombers of every kind who want a deck that feels planted, supportive, and ready to charge.
